We’re due for a catch-up. I’ve been taking it fairly easy the past few weeks after getting back from New York towards the end of April. I was there visiting some friends—and for my first wedding dress fitting (eeep!). Some of the highlights can be found here:
Obligatory New York appointments included: an eyebrow appointment at Sania’s Brow Bar, a haircut with Jessica at Jenna Perry, and an incredible facial with Crystal Greene.
During and prior to the trip, I felt like I had been moving around a lot, so since then I’ve been happily laying low, splitting my time between the city and the country. I’ve been spending a lot of time with family, Zach, and Oscar. I’ve also been cooking a lot, which I’ve especially been enjoying now that my local market feels like it’s in full summer swing.
I’m not reading anything worth recommending right now, so please let me know if you have anything for me to try! But I am watching The Studio at the moment, which is lighthearted and exactly what I need.
Some habits I’m especially focused on in the months leading up to my wedding: (1) green juice or bone broth every morning, (2) a good sweat via sauna 2–3 times per week, (3) getting my steps in, (4) sticking to my weekly workout routine, and (5) acupuncture and breath work—because apparently I now need to decompress.
When it comes to shopping, I picked up a few pieces recently that have been serving me very well:
From left: A new pair of Hunter boots arrived just in time for the onslaught of rain we’ve been having. I found walking in my tall Hunters, honestly, to be cumbersome—the shorter height makes such a difference. I also love the sheen on this pair.
Middle: Liffner’s new Woven Leather Basket Bag is absolutely perfect. I’ve been reaching for it a lot. I think it also might be the bag I’ve received the most compliments on—ever. It’s a really great option for summer if you’ve been searching! All their other woven bags are worth taking a peek at too—I’m especially partial to the Sisal and the Flat Leather.
On the right: I’m wearing the RLT Soft Pant, which is so good I bought a second pair just to always have a fresh one on hand. I think that says it all!
I’m also thrilled to be back in my summer uniform (when it’s not raining, at least): the Gala Pant (good alternative), paired with a tank or tee, and a thong sandal (alt).

As for what I’m eyeing—a few highlights from my time spent cruising the sales at Net-a-Porter (and I swear the colour story was totally unintentional)

The sales continue at Soft Services, where I’ll be picking up the ultimate summer on-the-go hydrator—Speed Soak, truly an all-time favorite. And while I’m at it, I’ll be restocking the Comfort Cleanse (a great hydrating body cleanser) and Theraplush, their overnight hand repair treatment that also doubles as a really cute nightstand accessory.
Also worth noting: Violet Grey is having their Spring Put It in the Bag Event through the 26th. You’ll get 15% off orders of $250, 20% off $500, and 25% off $1,000 or more—applied to every item (977 to be exact) in their Industry’s Beauty Edit.
I’m stocking up on my favorite eye masks and eye cream, RŌZ shampoo and conditioner (because I’m all out), my holy grail serum, body exfoliator and hydrator (for PM), and a restock of the Westman Atelier highlighter—because I’m out of that too! More of my top Violet Grey picks here.
See you on the next one!
xx
This is a great spring capsule!
You are everything ♥️
