Today is the first day back at my desk and I’m finally getting the chance to recap my recent trip to (and from, and then to again) New York.
This was my first real kick at Fashion Week and I had the best time running around from appointments to events and parties and meeting so many new friends along the way.
It started for me at Rachel Comey, which was beautiful—effortless yet intentional, eminently wearable, and inspiring in its layering and colour story.

The show wrapped with an aperitivo by Il Buco Vita, which I enjoyed before heading to an event hosted by The Anteros.
Day 2 involved lunch at San Vicente in the West Village (designed by Rosie Unacke, who never ceases to inspire) and a visit to the Levi’s showroom.

To the left, Celine Bucket Maillon Triomphe in cowskin, purchased many years ago. I’ve found one in leather on TheRealReal and a few on Vestiaire Collective (1, 2, 3). If you’re open to adding a cowprint pop to your look in other ways, might I suggest Margaux’s The Fonteyn.
To the right, a pair of men’s Levi’s Selvedge 501s with a vintage feel and the perfect loose fit.
Onward—after a blow dry, shower, and a quick 30-minute lie down, I changed into something a little more dressed up for the evening. The night began with a cocktail celebrating the opening of Metier’s Soho store, continued with an event hosted by ShopMy, and ended uptown at a Moda Operandi and Fendi party.

The new Metier store is as beautiful as the bags themselves and seeing so many in person left me with a rather lengthy wishlist. High on that list is a bag from the new Pendulum collection, and I wouldn’t mind the Sergeant Carryall or the Vérité Weekend (or any of the travel accessories for that matter) for a trip I have planned in November. But I digress.
Day 3!

The agenda for the day included a coffee date, a meeting, and a showroom visit, but I also managed to squeeze in a facial at Practise. Seeing Kristyn had been on my list for quite some time, and her facial did not disappoint—if you find yourself downtown and in need of a facial, she’s the one.
Later that evening, I went to Casetta in the LES for a Heaven Mayhem cocktail followed by an ANFISA event at Spencers spa in Soho. I ended the night with a late dinner at Bar Pitti with two of my very best friends who live in the city. It was a great night!

A quick intermission took me back home for an important commitment, which meant I sadly had to miss a few great events in New York. Nevertheless, I was back a few days later.

I went to a preview of the Khaite SS26 collection at their Soho showroom. I love when I can instantly picture myself wearing the pieces in real life, and this collection had plenty of that.
The following day—I have absolutely no recollection of what I wore, which is kind of scary (and I took zero photos to remind me). What I do remember is walking a lot, fitting in a workout, and having coffee with a friend in the morning before doing a bit of shopping on the LES and in Tribeca that afternoon. Later, I had an appointment at Jenna Perry with Jessica, where we cut like five inches off my hair.
That night I attended an incredible dinner hosted by MyTheresa and Loewe at The Glass House in Connecticut. The event celebrated Loewe’s FW25 collection and its collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, now available online. The whole evening was a dream.
Last day! Quick outfit for walking around, pilates, more coffee.

Back home to shower and change. The outfit fatigue hit me hard so I kept it simple.
I had an afternoon meeting at WSA and figured that since I was already in FiDi, I might as well finally make my way over to Printemps—and it completely lived up to expectations.
I had planned to head uptown afterward to visit the Guggenheim, the Attersee showroom, and Violet Grey, but I was simply too tired. I’d run out of my eye cream (ironically, at a time I probably needed it most) and had been dying to try Angela Caglia’s Cell Forté Eye Crèm, exclusive to VG. It’s been getting rave reviews and is formulated with exosomes, peptides, growth factors, caffeine, cytokines, and even more good stuff. Supposedly it visibly firms, de-puffs, and improves elasticity. Count me in! Anyways, I decided to take a lie-down and place an order online instead.
Last but not least…the outfit fatigue carried into my final night in New York, so I threw on an outfit that never lets me down.
Above, wearing a button-down I’ve had for a few years now (this would make a great alternative), layered over the Morgan tee from Clyque the Label. Same The Row denim from earlier, finished with my Nuance bag (alternative) and Harlow sandals (alternative).
Okay that’s all! Chat next week.
