10 Good Things with Olivia’s Shopping Diary
Volume 2: A Guest Edit with the Perennially Chic Olivia
Hello and Happy New Year! After a long, restful holiday, I’m so happy to be getting back into the rhythm of things.
And what better way to kick off the New Year than with a guest feature from Olivia, the stylish force behind @oliviasshoppingdiary! Olivia recently asked me to share 12 of my favorite things on her Substack, and I thought — let’s do a swap!
I’ve asked Olivia to share her current top 10: a mix of pieces that feel uniquely her. If you follow Olivia on Instagram, TikTok, or Substack, you already know her impeccable taste and sharp eye for fashion, so I knew anything that made it onto her list would be amazing—and she didn’t disappoint.
Keep reading to hear from Olivia!
I love summer but there is something about layering that just does it for me, especially when you start to introduce really great outerwear. If you love the barn jacket trend, you can’t get more classic than this. I wear it to do everything and it wears beautifully.
2. Lisa Yang Ebba Cable Knit Pant
When it comes to Christmas holiday outfits, I’m very much a comfy yet want to be put together person. These cashmere trousers are cosy and chic. I’m planning on wearing them with the matching cashmere sweater, Charvet flats and some jewellery on Christmas Day and probably for the many days after
A little random but this is my most recent purchase and is currently getting more use than anything else I own. It’s all in the chic little things that bring you the most satisfaction. Alessi does homeware just so well.
There is a reason everyone goes on about Khaite denim. The Abigail jeans have a slightly more cropped fit compared to the Danielle and the fit is just so good, they’re addictive and I need every colour unfortunately.
5. Belted Shearling Olive Toteme Coat
This coat has been living on my mind since I saw it on Ilana Torbiner. I have a shearling from Nour Hammour that I’ve been wearing so much that I thought I should introduce a new colour to my winter palette. This olive colour is the perfect shade. The chicest coat for dressing up, casual wear or simply running post Pilates errands.
We’ve recently moved to the English Countryside and so I feel like I’m trading part of my clothing addiction for an interior addiction. I received this from Casa de Suna after it had been at the top of my wishlist for ages, it adds such a luxurious injection of texture into my kitchen and I feel like I need the entire collection.
7. Louise Roe Balloon Glass Vase
In an ideal world, I would have everything from Louise Roe. This vase is so elegant, yet demands attention as soon as you walk into the room. I currently have it in my living room, on top of a small chest of drawers with dark pink hydrangeas in and it brings me utter daily joy.
8. Nordic Knots Grand Chestnut Rug
Evidently building on my previous statement of the interior addiction taking over. This rug is the perfect rich brown shade that looks so perfect, it’s definitely and investment but one that will age beautifully and makes such a difference.
They say when you hit 25 your prefrontal cortex fully develops, well I’m pretty sure ever since I turned 25 (one month ago) my evening skincare routine has also fully developed. The major turning point being using these stones post bath. The Peppermint Mocha smells so good I wish it came in an edible version.
On the subject of Charvet flats, it felt rude not to include these. I have been stalking Net-a-Porter religiously waiting for these to come back in stock. Everyone I know who has them, constantly raves about them. Just when I thought I’d secured them a few months ago, I was essentially scammed by Bergdorf’s, these are now on their way from Net-a-Porter so let’s hope these ones arrive….
And that’s Olivia’s top 10! Every pick feels so quintessentially her—chic, thoughtful, and perfectly curated. I hope you’re as inspired by her list as I am (a few items have definitely made it onto my wish list…). If you’re not already following her @oliviasshoppingdiary, I highly recommend—I think you’d all love!
Until next time,
Anna
I’ve followed you both for a while and when I say this is the collab of my dreams
